meet tiffany - founder & lead designer

I am a third generation native islander and a Southern girl at heart. “Yes, ma’am” and “yes, sir” are in my blood. I hate to cook, but I love collecting dishes. And I am happiest with a house full of family, friends and red wine.

Thirteen years ago, I married my high school sweetheart on the beaches of Amelia Island, the town we still call home. We have one seven (going on seventeen) year old daughter, Hannah Grace.

My desire to bring beauty and organization to my surroundings started at a young age. My dollhouse design lacked no detail, and I never missed a day of picking out my dad’s tie!

I searched interior design programs in the southeast (let’s be honest, within a 3 hour drive of home) and was excited to claim Georgia Southern as my future alma mater. GSU’s Interior Design program equipped me with the practical skills to turn my long-time hobby into a full-time career. After graduation in 2005, I moved back to Florida to work for a local design firm where I gained hands-on experience in the industry.

I started this business in the spring of 2013 during a season of juggling the work/life balance with a young child. I wanted a business that combined my passion for design with my passion to serve others and allowed the flexibility I needed for my family. What started as a small venture and a big step of Faith, God has blessed and grown beyond my greatest expectations. More recently, I have been able to expand my business ventures to include the opening of our retail location Cape House, a home and hospitality store in the heart of Amelia Island.

I simply cannot get enough of beautiful spaces. When I do find a few moments to kick up my feet, you can find me in the sand flipping though the most recent issue of House Beautiful, Coastal Living or Traditional Home with the sound of children laughter filling the air.

Coming from a true homebody – I believe we should all feel our best at home.

And at the end of the day, I feel most successful when we have created a space you are happy to call home!

meet mckenzie, interior stylist

Hi y’all! I’m McKenzie, design enthusiast and sweet tea connoisseur. I’m passionate about southern design and coastal living, which makes helping Amelia Island residents transform their spaces to an actual dream come true. After spending a couple of years in sunny South Florida, my husband and I are happy to once again call our hometown home. There’s really no place like it! We welcomed our first little one, Alba Grace, to the crew in June. She’s a 4th generation Fernandina girl!

While my formal background is in digital media – I’ve always loved interior design. I find serving our community through design incredibly fulfilling. Few things make me happier than creating joy for others – getting to do that through beautiful spaces makes work feel much more like a hobby than a job!

When I don’t have my Lola hat on, you’ll find me perusing antique shops, trying new restaurants with my husband, or creating content for my lifestyle blog, Somethin’ Southern.

meet lisa, office manager

Born and raised in chilly Michigan, I wake up each morning thankful to see the bright sun peeking through the shutters, knowing soon I’ll feel it’s warmth on my face. My husband Ben and I moved here 9 years ago in search of a tropical climate, a desire to raise our boys where we wanted to retire and a dream for something new. Looking back now, we know another reason we were drawn to Fernandina Beach was our journey of faith.

We are blessed with two boys, two dogs and two cats. Are you seeing a theme here?? Austin is a freshmen at UNF and is focusing on finance. Hunter is the Assistant Store Manager at Petco and got married in August to his best friend and a girl we all adore, Abby. We have so much to look forward to in 2019!

I LOVE working at Lola Interiors and sharing my passion for business, organization and people. We try hard to never take ourselves too serious but always strive for excellence in everything we do. Our client’s confidence in us is our top priority and we understand our job is to advocate for them during the design process.

My other loves include spending time with my husband & family, serving at The Journey Church and “refreshing” our home with inspirations I hear about at the Lola office.

meet kelli, lead designer’s assistant

I was born and raised here in Fernandina Beach, FL and have always had a special place in my heart for this little island. About 5 years ago I ventured off to Valdosta, GA where I earned my B.S. in Psychology in 2016.

After graduation I moved to Tallahassee in the search for the perfect job but could just never find the right fit for me. I gave it a year and then decided to move back home to be closer to family and see what opportunities I could find there.

Low and behold, about two weeks later the perfect opportunity arose when I found out about an opening at Lola. I started my job here in August of 2017 and it has been nothing but a blessing ever since! I have always had a passion for interior design and pretty spaces and I love being able to see the process of houses becoming homes from start to finish, plus getting to be around such an amazing team of hardworking women everyday – it truly is the dream job!

I was born and raised in Fernandina Beach and happy to be living my best life on this beautiful island! Some would say that I was born with an eye for detail and lots of sass.

I'm a newlywed and loving married life. I love that I get to create a life with not only my husband, but best friend. Recent graduate from Florida State College of Jacksonville with a degree in Interior Design. Since I was little, I can remember watching HGTV with my momma and sister, thinking how fun it would be to do that for a living. I mean who didn't love rearranging and organizing their room growing up? Design quickly became a passion of mine that I started to pursue in highschool.

I'm blessed to be on the Lola Team. It's always been my dream to work with Tiffany and here I am today living that out. Seeing a space get transformed into something beautiful for our clients is so fulfilling and brings joy to my heart. When I'm not working, you can find me exploring our island or popping into different antique shops with my husband, reading a book that inspires me or hanging out with our families. I love all things mid-century, neutral and emerald green.
